Process

A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn while I was already interviewing with other companies. There were two phone screens.

First was a coding round, and the second was Linux and networking.

The recruiter was very responsive and usually got back the very next day after each phone screen. They wanted to proceed with an onsite interview, and a new hiring coordinator took over. This is where the lacklustre response started.

The virtual onsite process has not changed in years, and it is exactly as described by many people on this forum, including the questions.

Once the interview was completed, there was no response, even after two weeks. I followed up multiple times. Finally, the recruiter said they wanted to proceed with an offer but were finding a right team.

They thought that my code review module did not go too well and wanted to tag me with someone to ramp up in that area. After this communication, the recruiter stopped communication completely, which was shameful behavior after boasting about how they care about not leaving interviewees hanging.

It has been a month, and there is still no closure. I had two other offers, and I decided to pull out of the LinkedIn process.
