Process
I had an interview at Sunnyvale, CA. It was well-organized and consisted of six different modules:
- Recruiter Meeting
- Incident Response and Management
- Service Design and Architecture
- Code Review and Analysis
- Host Manager
- Live Troubleshooting
I failed miserably on all six. Needless to say, there was no offer. I also received a cool-down period of three years before I can apply to LinkedIn again.
Questions
During the Live Troubleshooting segment, I was tasked with fixing the broken Apache HTTPD. After spending half an hour trying to get to the problem, I was told that the server must have had an internal problem that I failed to pinpoint.
