LinkedIn culture has deteriorated a lot
- Inday (even though now a lot of teams are working during Inday)
- Unlimited DTO (even though some orgs do not allow more than even 2-week dayoffs)
- $2000/year perk-up (even though it has not increased for several years under so much inflation)
- Free breakfast, lunch (even though not as good as old days)
- Heavy cliff after 4 years; some staff engineers' salaries cannot even compare to a senior.
- Want to move fast but limited by the poor internal infrastructure.
- No new business generation.
- A lot of politics.
To be honest, I don't even know why some people are managers at LinkedIn.
