Pros

Great cafeteria, commute support, lots of perks, good 401k matching, and Microsoft stock is doing great.

Cons

LinkedIn culture is slowly dying and replaced with Msft culture. In my past two teams, no one worked from home. Some engineers are working on their days off and during their DTO. Promotion is rigid and hard. You won't get promoted just because you are 'exceeding expectations' for three years straight. However, if your manager likes you, you can get promoted even if you've been on the team for less than a year. People start to not respond to you; they don't answer your emails or Slack, no matter what you do. If you try to do a project with an external team, then they do their very best to not cooperate. I've been here a long time, and things have truly gone down the drain. The technologies used are super old and irrelevant.

Advice to Management

Perks will only blind people for so long. Your work culture is declining, and LinkedIn culture is disappearing. Work has become political and people unfriendly.
