Some groups have a lot of internal politics: senior-level contributors stealing or poaching on each other's work to get promoted, and nepotism.
- Keep the engineers happy.
- Make low & mid-level management accountable. Prevent directors & senior directors from filling up lower-level positions with faces known from their previous workplaces so that backscratching can be done effectively.
