I applied for the job and almost immediately got a call back. It was through a recruiter, so I never spoke with the actual manager until the face-to-face interview. I was sent over an email with a "test" to see if I was competent enough. It simply was to put together a page with some scripts and CSS. Overall, I got much positive feedback from the first interview, but they had closed the position due to budgeting issues. I got a call a few months later and went in for a second interview. Again, I got positive reviews, and it came down to me and one more person. They went with the one who had a tad more experience, as I expected they would.
