Good sense of community with regular team bonding activities

Cons: Not much work life balance - maybe you already knew that
People managers are often overburdenened which can make it difficult for individual contributors to get the support they need
Teams can also be relatively small for the amount of work there is to do. It's a growth opportunity but also requires a lot of dedication on everyone to put in extra and do more than just the 9-5.

Pros: * Engineering quality is improving across the company with initiatives on unit testing, code quality and analytics
* Interesting work from building UI interfaces to interacting with car signals across multiple cars
* Work life balance exists so long as you allocate enough time to complete your projects on time. In addition, great for go-getters who like to take on more scope. Personally I have been able to develop in regards to CI/CD & Jetpack Compose
* Some great Android Engineers
Cons: * Things are a lot less structured compared to a FANG company. Some individuals may feel directionless if they haven't learned how to set direction
* Some Engineers have lower code standards
