Perception Engineer Interview Experience - United States

Process

Pros

  • Some of the engineers in the ADAS team seem enthusiastic about the work.

Cons

  • TERRIBLE recruiters. Poor attitude, poor response, and poor punctuality from recruiters throughout the process. The recruiter didn't show up for the phone screen call twice in a row without notifying the candidate. They also didn't show up on the day of the onsite interview and didn't bother to follow up post the onsite interview.

  • Requires a mandatory presentation on the day of the interview. This is not a presentation to prove the candidate is good, but rather to steal knowledge from the candidate as much as possible.

  • The manager's interview was the biggest joke. It showed a lack of foresight and understanding of autonomous driving in general, which is a big red flag for the future.

  • Please don't waste your time interviewing with this company with "32 sensors" for autonomous driving.
