Engineering quality is improving across the company with initiatives on unit testing, code quality, and analytics.
There is interesting work, from building UI interfaces to interacting with car signals across multiple cars.
Work-life balance exists, so long as you allocate enough time to complete your projects on time. In addition, it is great for go-getters who like to take on more scope. Personally, I have been able to develop in regards to CI/CD & Jetpack Compose.
There are some great Android Engineers.
Things are a lot less structured compared to a FANG company. Some individuals may feel directionless if they haven't learned how to set direction.
Some engineers have lower code standards.
Keep investing in quality, as it will pay dividends for the future. Hold people accountable for quality goals in order to drive real change.
