Pros

Opportunity to work with very talented individuals.

Cons

Toxic management, incompetent HR, and a lack of trust throughout the company. There is absolutely no work-life balance. Pressure on engineers to work ridiculous hours, including evenings and weekends, even when testing vehicles. This testing requires a level of alertness. The fear of speaking out leads to engineers hiding mistakes, which is detrimental to a company that aims to put people and families in fast-moving vehicles.

Advice to Management

I don't think you'll change, but many people have already told you what to do.

Get rid of all the toxic managers. Stop micromanaging your workforce. Build trust and a healthy culture. Empower your engineers and make it a safe place to speak up about problems, rather than firing people who bring anything up.
