*DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

I recently gave a telephonic interview with Lyft. It was a very bad experience.

I don't want to mention the name. The interviewer was very new to the company, as he had just joined and didn't know how to behave during the interview.

I've had a really bad experience with the interviewer. He was obstructing me every single second. I didn't feel it was like an interview. He doesn't know how to communicate well, at least during an interview. He didn't ask any coding questions and completed the call in 40 minutes, when it was supposed to be 1 hour. Initially, he told me he would take a coding session in the end, but he didn't do that.

I have a lot of respect for Lyft's mission and I really value their vision. But having this kind of interviewer personality in the company will spoil the environment, and thank God I didn't move forward.

He was arrogant on the call and kept on obstructing, as if he knew everything in the world. On top of that, he was scolding Google company as if he was so great and knew all the concepts. I strongly believe he didn't get an offer from Google, which is the reason he is scolding.

I request the Lyft team: please take interviews from experienced professionals rather than newbies.
