Truly, it was the most disrespectful recruiter and interviewer I dealt with. I passed the phone interview and received an invitation for an onsite. In the morning, when she picked me up from the lobby, she didn't even show me around. The whole time she was playing with her phone while being with me.
After the interview, I sent her three very polite emails regarding the follow-up. After TWO WEEKS, she just sent a generic, no-reply email from Greenhouse.
I put a lot of time and effort into this, flew there, and spent my day. At the end, she just sent a generic email about rejection. Thank you, Ms. Recruiter!
About the interviewer, during the onsite coding interview, he explained the question incorrectly compared to what was written on the paper. He gave me the question and said, "I am going for lunch. If you need me, call me." I called him at some point to clarify one thing; however, he was so angry when he got back. While I was explaining my solution, he kept cutting me off and acting so disrespectful.
Honestly, this has been the worst onsite interview experience for me and made me hate Lyft. Clearly, they choose the wrong people on board.
