Being based in San Francisco, the Nashville office has to stream team meetings and often has video meetings with team members in other offices. It's not horrible; it can just feel distant.
Keep doing what you're doing, and don't let growing your team quickly keep you from developing personal relationships.
I was contacted via email about three weeks after applying and asked to come for an on-site interview the next day. I was not available to do so on such short notice. I replied and rescheduled a time for a brief phone interview, asking basic question
I had the usual phone call and then a coding test after that, but I did not get beyond that stage. Nothing was out of the ordinary; everything was very standard, and there were no surprises. The recruiter was very good compared to other companies as
2-hour OA -> 60-minute technical interview -> 90-minute laptop interview -> 90-minute 2nd laptop (weird). I don't know why I have one more round interview. This takes me a lot of time to finish the whole loop.
