The first stage is a phone screening with the EDG manager. He was very friendly and described the position in more detail. We went through my A-level grades, my right to work in the UK, and he asked some general competency questions.
He then asked which programming languages I was comfortable with (MATLAB and Python) and asked me some basic technical questions on arrays, matrix manipulation, and OOP concepts.
At the end of the interview, I was told to contact him again in a few days to schedule a technical interview on Skype. This interview will cover topics in Maths, Control Theory, MATLAB, and Python (I am still on this stage).
The third stage consists of an on-site technical interview, in which you will apply the concepts from the video interview, and a competency-based interview with HR.
