Process
I was asked to choose a time slot for a phone interview. HR called at the scheduled time and asked me some basic questions. She also explained the position. The whole interview lasted just 10-15 minutes. At the end, she asked me to complete a coding challenge through HackerRank, with a timeframe of 7 days to complete it.

Pros: Good name in the industry.
Good compensation.
Motivation to move out from EDG.
Smart peers.
Cons: Management in EDG doesn't care about ASE's career development or learning. All they want to do is save their a** and look good in front of higher management. The program is portrayed as one which gives flexibility and freedom to pursue your interests, but that is rarely the case. Managers start thrusting some stupid timelines and documents on you and will keep wanting you to do more technical support in the name of "Leadership Qualities."

Pros: Software engineers are highly respected and regarded at this company. Technical abilities are very important to succeed here.
Cons: Career growth seems to be limited, especially to get into the business side.
