Applications Support Engineer Interview Experience

Process

I applied for this position online and received a call from HR.

It was a basic HR interview. HR then scheduled a telephonic technical interview.

For some reason, the interviewer couldn't call me on the scheduled day, but they rescheduled it later. The interview lasted for almost an hour.

The interviewer asked me to choose any 3 from the pool of C, C++, Java, and Matlab. I chose all but Matlab.

He asked me standard questions, and I answered most of them. Overall, I believe I could have done better.

He mentioned they would get back to me after two weeks if they decided to proceed. I haven't received any feedback yet.

Therefore, I am assuming they decided not to move forward with my application.

Questions

The NP-problem. I expected that I would be asked about this, but he asked me about it in detail.
