Process

I applied online and received a link for a recorded video interview with pre-recorded questions. The questions were the same as those provided on the website:

  • GPA?
  • Sponsorship?
  • Why are you a good fit for this position?
  • Multiple responsibilities?
  • Why are you interested in this position?

After a week, I received an email for a technical interview. The technical interview covered C, C++, OOP, MATLAB, Operating Systems, and some code snippets in C and C++. Not all questions were from the website; only some were.

Some questions I remember were:

  • If I have two threads writing to a memory location, what would be my concerns?
  • What is a critical section?
  • Can I define a function within a structure?
  • How can I define multiple definitions of a function in a base and derived class?
  • What are the advantages of OOP?
  • What are inline functions?

I am currently waiting for their decision after the second interview.

Questions

C++ exception handler. How to change plots in MATLAB. How to delete a row in a 3x3 matrix.
