Pros: Good work culture, products that touch many lives. Core values, good work-life balance.

Cons: EDG in India is quite poor. Students from premiere institutions are recruited and told they can make a career in their respective fields, but this is not true. Once a fresher joins, he/she will come to know there are no choices to make as such. There are only 5 departments and no core roles. Very few openings make transfers for EDG very difficult. Getting stuck with a support profile is the worst thing that can happen for a career, especially for engineers from top-notch institutes. Only a few technologies are helpful for a long-term career outside MathWorks. Managers from other departments recruit people from outside; even freshers are recruited, which calls the EDG model into question. People don't leave because they are left with no choice, but rather stay in EDG. During recruitment, students are not told the truth about the career opportunities.

Pros: The nicest colleagues ever, everyone is helpful. You can always find a team that suits your own interest and working style.

Cons: Can't think of anything. I'm happy with the team, opportunities of responsibility, and promotion.

Pros: Very friendly and supportive co-workers. Awesome perks. The company really cares about employees. Lot of opportunities for leadership roles. Easy switch to different teams. They are getting bigger every year, so it's exciting to be a part of the growth.

Cons: The review process is too elaborate. The stakeholder plan is a major part of salary; without it, the salary looks just average.
