Process
The interview process included an online HackerRank test with two coding questions and optional MATLAB questions. This was followed by a phone interview and then a manager interview, if selected. After that, there was a recruiter call. It was a very good interview experience.

- One applying binary search.
- The other one on OOP design.

Cons: Horrible management, very bad talent acquisition team. The EDG program is completely a waste of time.

Pros: As a fresh graduate from grad school, I wasn't very sure about my interests. The EDG program helped me explore various teams within MathWorks and do projects with them. The guidance provided by managers is goal-oriented and directional. My fellow EDGers are smart and very helpful.
Cons: Due to COVID-19, my onboarding was done online. Though MathWorks did their best for us to have a positive experience, it would have been nice to interact with fellow EDGers.

Pros: Projects with the development teams are fun. Great work-life balance. Great people; developers are very nice to work with.
Cons: EDG intern meetings are unrelated to the projects and may take some valuable time away from the projects.
