I haven’t applied to this job, though I have applied to multiple front-end jobs. The team lead requested an interview and spoke for an hour. Most of it consisted of team management questions with basic JavaScript questions at the end.
The next interview was with QA, concentrating on object-oriented JavaScript.
Then, I was invited for an on-site, where I was forced to give a 45-minute presentation. It felt really stupid.
Following the presentation were interviews with team members. I liked the interview with the developer, which concentrated on JavaScript programs and web tech. The rest all asked only about team management. Everyone had the same set of questions, and each interview lasted 45 minutes. There was another interview during lunch as well.
I was exhausted and frustrated. The overall process took about 6 hours without a break (except once to use the washroom). They sent me home and then sent a rejection the same day.
Object-oriented JavaScript: closures, prototypes, etc.

Check for a palindrome, find the longest palindrome in a string, and test the entire program.
Team, team, team. Nonsense.
