Pros: Good management team.
Sufficient downtime.
Stable company with not a lot of layoffs lingering.
Pretty good product to contribute to.
Very good benefits and >50% 401k match 100% of the time.
Eventual growth.
All in all, this is a great company to work for, if you plan to stay for at least 5-6 years, not a company that can grant instant gratification.
Cons: Pace to market is very slow compared to industry standards, since the product is still primarily a desktop product. Updates cannot be pushed at a brisk pace.
Pay might be substandard for the first couple of years given that the Boston suburbs are pretty expensive.
Behind the curve on industry standards in web services development.
Products are not as diverse as one would expect them to be; however, that trend seems to be changing fast.
Changing teams is not as easy as it should be.
