Speaking for my specific team, it's great to be a developer here. The technical projects are engaging. There are opportunities to seek out new responsibilities and lead projects. Colleagues are very collaborative. The schedule is flexible, and there really is great work-life balance.
Some decision-making can be a slow process. The pay may be on the lower end for a large software company. The hierarchy is flat, so there are not a huge number of official leadership opportunities.
Step 1 - Typically, it is a phone interview, but I met them at a career fair, so I skipped that. I was invited to come in for 'College Day'. Step 2 - Technical Interview (2 hours - they ask you to choose 1 of 4 tracks of topics). Step 3 - Behavior
I applied online. The process took one day. The first round was an HR round (video interview). I interviewed at MathWorks (Natick, MA) in October 2016. They asked basic questions; it was fairly predictable. The video interview was conducted online
The interview was about 40 minutes. I chose the embedded systems option and was asked questions on that. I'll try to list the questions I was asked, which aren't reflected here yet: * Linked list operations * Sum of n numbers * Types of scheduling
