Pros

I've been interning here for more than 3 months. From what I observed:

  • Relaxing work culture but challenging problems to solve.
  • People help each other, and there are a lot of smart, knowledgeable employees.
  • The company takes care of employees and doesn't encourage them to take work home. In fact, it tells employees to work no more than 40 hours per week or talk to the manager about having to overwork.
  • Growing steadily (but not as fast as some hot startups); it's building a second campus now.

Side note: The CEO drives a generic electric car and is one of the most humble persons I've seen. This fits a minimalist or frugal person's profile.

Cons

Commute can be tough. There are very few public transport options in and out of Natick, which is already becoming crowded and expensive to buy property.

The pay is probably below average compared to other hot Silicon Valley companies.

They need to figure out how to bring recycling bins back. They used to have them, but for some reason, we no longer have recycling bins in the offices.

Advice to Management

Please pay a bit more and bring recycle bins back. Also, maybe build the second campus outside of Natick and arrange buses for employees.
