Two telephonic interviews were conducted.
The first was with a software developer. He asked basic questions based on my resume and experience. While I was discussing my profile, he kept interjecting with questions about the technical terms I used, such as design patterns. We also discussed the software team and their work. It was very easy and not at all tough.
I was then scheduled for a second interview with a very highly experienced person, whose LinkedIn profile I had reviewed. The interview began with a discussion of his work profile and development. Next, he asked for my introduction and then about my C++ projects. He had my resume in front of him, so he read through different projects and asked about some of them, such as what the project did. He then asked me to discuss one of my C++ projects and how I had approached it. I explained it, and while detailing the various data structures and template libraries I used, he asked questions based on the technologies employed in the project.
The interview was good and not very tough, but I did not receive any further calls. The interviewer sounded like a non-American; I felt he was having trouble speaking English. He was fumbling, which confused me a lot. I had to say, "Sorry, I didn't get you," every time he asked or said something.
