First round: I received a call from McAfee for a telephonic interview. It went well, and HR then called for a face-to-face discussion.
I went to McAfee, Bangalore.
Second round: Technical, covering Python, programming, Scrum practices, frameworks, and design. I cleared this round.
Third round: More on behavior and puzzles.
Fourth round: I was asked to write a few programs, demonstrate different OOP concepts, file operations, and prepare for SSH and FTP. Then, I was given some problems to understand and write programs for on the computer.
After all rounds, they informed me that the manager was not in the office and they would call for an interview the following week. I waited a week but didn't receive any response from HR.
I emailed HR for feedback. HR replied that my candidature was on hold. I emailed her again, requesting feedback on being on hold or rejected to help me in the future. To my surprise, she did not reply to my emails.
I never expected this kind of unprofessional behavior from McAfee. As a candidate, after spending a full day taking leave, we at least expect a reply with feedback.
oops
