Process
Phone screen round: 45 minutes technical, 30 minutes behavioral.
The technical portion was broken down into:
- 15 minutes of data modeling
- 15 minutes of Python
- 15 minutes of SQL
Contrary to some advice I've seen, my interviewer did not want me to talk through my approach or think out loud while coding. They simply wanted me to jump straight into coding. I was also able to run the code and make sure it works before moving on to the next problem.
Questions
SQL: Return a sorted list of customers with the most purchase transactions, filtered by a certain tag.
