The interview process began with a screening call with the recruiter. She described the role and culture and then asked five easy questions on SQL and data structures.
Three weeks later, I had a technical screening with a data engineer over BlueJeans. During this session, I had to solve five SQL and five Python problems in CoderPad.
Four weeks after that, I participated in a virtual onsite interview that included four rounds: Ownership, Data Modeling, and two ETL rounds. The Data Modeling and ETL rounds began with a 15-20 minute discussion about a product, including its success metrics.
I performed well in all rounds except the second ETL round. In that round, I struggled to connect with the interviewer. He repeatedly interrupted me, and his communication was unclear, requiring me to clarify questions several times.
Overall, the experience was positive, and I learned a great deal while preparing for the interviews. Unfortunately, one challenging interview ultimately led to a "No Offer".
