I applied online. The process took three months.
It was a good interview and I passed the screening. There were three SQL and three LeetCode questions, with twenty-five minutes for SQL and Python. The questions themselves were pretty easy, but the hard part was the pace. You barely have time to mess up and debug, and you have to move fast while communicating clearly.

Pros: 1. Strong infrastructure, similar workflow and data flow among every org. Easy to communicate, debug and share experience with other DEs in FB.
2. Top pay for DE among the world and top promotion speed.
3. Good company culture. Very open and free inside the company. Managers are nice. They are helping you and your career, not manipulating you.
Cons: Strong infrastructure and data tools solved most tech problems for you. You only need to perform business logic most of the time in SQL. Writing too much SQL every day can become boring. Sometimes, you might not even feel like you're doing engineering work.
