Process

  1. I received a call from an FB Recruiter who found me through LinkedIn. We had an initial discussion about my general experience and they asked five basic SQL and Python questions.

  2. The next round is a one-hour technical interview, where code will be written in CoderPad. The interviewer is very helpful, and it feels more like a conversation than an interview. There are also basic hints for Python coding available, which you can refer to if you get stuck. The questions are all available on Glassdoor here. Please refer to them and practice well.

Questions

Python Questions:

  1. Replace None values with the previous value present in a list.
  2. Given a dictionary, print the key for the nth highest value. If there are multiple keys for the nth highest value, sort the keys and print the first one.
  3. Given two sentences, print the words that are not present in either of the sentences. (If a word is present twice in the first sentence but not in the second, print that word too).
  4. Forgot another question.

You have to pass all cases, especially edge cases.

SQL Questions:

  1. Mostly % calculation. Also, refer to the questions available here in Glassdoor.

Next will be my onsite interview of 3.5 hours. If anyone can help me, or else I will update later on that interview as well.
