Process

The recruiter emailed, stating they would like to schedule an interview as my resume was shortlisted by the hiring manager. I was asked to provide an estimated availability for five days for an interview.

The first interview would be a screening. If I qualified, I would get to attend five more interviews (technical, behavioral, design).

I was scheduled for the screening interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager seemed rushed and was rude. He asked me to go through my resume and experience.

Then, he started asking me questions about diecast, machining, sheet metal design, and injection molding.

He interrupted frequently and did not allow me to complete my sentences. The screening interview is usually 45 minutes. The hiring manager joined five minutes late. After 30 minutes, he told me I was being dismissed and would not have time to ask questions. This seemed very rude and unprofessional.

Overall, the interview process was very poor.
