I applied for a contract job and had an initial screening phone call.
They said they would update me on the status within a week, but I never heard from them again.
It makes sense since it's such a large company, but it's better to get a rejection email than to be left hanging.

Pros: Free food, great benefits, and good pay. The freedom to design as you want, lead projects, and avoid overbearing managers who try to micromanage is pretty awesome.
Cons: You work long hours, but those hours are often up to how well you want to perform. Competition is encouraged amongst employees, as you're all working hard to better perform the rest.
