The standard interview loop for individual contributors was followed. However, the guidance on interviewer expectations for a senior IC was extremely limited, and feedback during the interviews was non-existent.

As a result, while I aced the technical aspects of the interview, my qualitative answers were not what they were looking for directionally, and they chose not to proceed.

Unfortunately, this was a major waste of my preparation time, which could have been avoided with better guidance from the recruiting team.
