Process

I was contacted by the recruiter.

The first round was a basic HR screening test, consisting of 20 questions. Anyone with systems knowledge can solve this easily.

The next round was a coding challenge that lasted 45 minutes. You should clearly understand space and time complexity. Know Big O in and out; don't expect to pass if you don't.

The next round focused on systems.

Questions

  1. Basic Algorithms.

    • Practice on LeetCode.
    • Understand different and better approaches for the same code (e.g., O(1) solutions, dynamic programming).
  2. Log Parsing.

    • Learn how to validate IP addresses, dates, and credit card numbers.
    • Regular expressions (Regex) are your best friend.
