Software Engineer (IC4) Interview Experience - France

Process

The interview process covers classic LeetCode problems, system design, and behavioral questions. It's quite easy to master with some practice, as the questions tend to be repetitive.

After passing the interviews, the recruiters were incredibly rude. They pressured me to sign an offer on the same day, whereas any decent company would allow at least a week for reflection and comparison. They also explained that other candidates would get the role if I wasn't quick.

On top of that, the compensation is quite weak for London.

When I asked to do more interviews to move to IC5, the recruiter simply said, "No, all the best, bye."

I have gone through dozens of interview processes, and I have never encountered a hiring team that was so disrespectful.

Combined with the fact that Meta tends to conduct a significant number of layoffs these days, I would avoid this company.
