Process
Facebook came to my school to conduct on-campus interviews for prospective interns. I was placed in a room with one of the engineers, where he asked me why I wanted to work for Facebook, gave me two technical programming questions, and allocated five minutes at the end for me to ask about his work and any questions I might have about the company.

Write a function that returns the square root of a number (obviously without using any sort of built-in square root function).
