Process

Telephone interview followed by on-site.

The process was exceptionally well managed, very well thought through, and very efficient.

The interview presented an excellent impression of the company and the people who work there.

I have never had a process that completed so quickly and with so little friction.

Career Prospects Vs. Superficial Culture

Software Engineer • Former Employee

Menlo Park, California, United States

February 3, 2023

Pros: 1. Perceived career opportunities 2. Socialization

Cons: 1. Comments on internal workplace are more important than actual work, sort of like Instagram pictures of influencers who can spin off a cool image, but there's nothing real behind it. 2. Management is very young. Instead of trying to solve actual problems in the team, they defer it to HR. If someone complains to HR, no one even checks if it was true or not. Even though a person is an excellent engineer, complaints can devoid that person of promotion.
