I met the recruiter at an event hosted by the university and then sent her my application. Within a week, they scheduled an interview for me.
It was a 1-on-1 phone interview, purely technical. The interviewer asked me some small algorithm problems and then asked me to write code. Sometimes, they would ask you to optimize your first solution and also write the optimized code. They were very friendly; it's okay to ask for hints and fix minor bugs in your code.
I had two phases of interviews, in the same style, and then got the offer.
