Process

The phone screen started with basic Android questions. Then, we jumped into the coding part where I was given two questions. The first was to find the kth smallest element in an array of integers. The other was to balance parentheses in a parenthesis sequence (I can't remember the exact details).

During the onsite stage, I was given four coding questions in total. If you are familiar with LeetCode.com questions, they were not too difficult to answer. I can't remember each one of them, but there was a buy and sell stock question, a merge k sorted lists question, and others.

Remember that the questions may not be exactly the same as they appear on LeetCode.com. If you use the website for your interview preparation, be sure not to just stick to the answers. You should always be able to solve a new problem within a given time slot. Make this your goal when you practice.

I was also given a design question asking me to design a download manager. It wouldn't be hard if you know the SDK well.
