Applied online. Contacted by a recruiter for an initial screening at the Facebook office. Went to the local Facebook office, where I waited for a few minutes after arriving at reception. First, the recruiter gave me a tour of the center and talked about perks. Then, they took me to a conference room, where I met the interviewer. We first discussed my past projects and then jumped into a coding question.

Pros: Still a bit startup-y, plenty of opportunity for impact and growth, great culture, great perks.
Cons: Toughest feedbacks you'll ever get. The speed and level of productivity at which they work and expect you to work is scary.

Pros: Great benefits - one of the best health, dental, and vision insurance plans, on top of delicious free food, shuttles, and a generous salary.
Good pay.
Currently, internal mobility is not too difficult. You do have to be in the team that you started on for at least a year before being eligible to change teams, but it's not hard to do so after that.
Cons: * Lots of politics and fighting for scope.
* Culture/WLB has recently gone downhill due to everyone being worried about stack ranking. Folks are less willing to help onboard new folks (could be intentional due to stack ranking or unintentional - too busy, can't prioritize onboarding). People frequently work nights and weekends as well.
