Pros: I can only speak for an IC (individual contributor) or what we generally call a software engineer.
* Clear career path. From E3 to E5 or even a senior staff role, there is always a path you could find.
* Good mentorship.
* Fast promotion, as long as you can keep making a bigger impact.
* Clear goals for the company. FB is very good at setting up good metrics.
* Cool perks, needless to say.
Cons: - Have to compete for getting impact.
