I thought the recruiter I spoke to on the phone was great and did everything to make the process seamless. I am completely disappointed with the technical person who interviewed me.
This is not because I received an email saying, "We do not have anything that matches your interest." Facebook should not have started this process if they knew they did not have anything of interest to offer.
Coming to the person who interviewed me: I thought he was very disinterested in the process, and he started the interview with a bias in mind. One needs to understand that this interview is as important to his company as it is to me. In the short window of time he gets with me, he needs to be an ideal representative of his company's culture.
This person working with Facebook for more than 10 years (straight out of college) does not make others any less deserving of the job. There is a basic decency you can exude from your body language and tone of voice. I wish Facebook would not invest in young people who end up rejecting not-so-young people (15+ years of experience). It is putting the company in harm's way.
Behavioral, mostly.
Few technical system design related.
