Cons: If you are looking for career growth and being acknowledged for your good work, avoid the Durham Reality Lab location at Meta. There is a huge tendency for micromanagement by the top managers here, and ignorance and passive-aggressive behavior are rampant. Poor listening skills and attention to employees are easily observable in high management levels. The team is secluded from the rest of Meta and Reality Labs for unknown reasons, but there seems to be a huge tendency to isolate the team from actual Meta's culture. You won't feel inclusion in the environment. Ownership of projects is a challenge here, and some people in high levels ignore or don't acknowledge your work. This has become a common, big concern among employees here.

Pros: Salary is the only good thing.

Cons: It's a race, a continuous scope-stealing rat race.
