Pros: Got to work on large-scale data pipelines used by real products. Amazing engineering culture and great exposure to internal tools like DataSwarm and Unidash. I learned a lot about data reliability, monitoring, and handling critical production systems. Team collaboration was strong, and documentation was surprisingly solid for a big tech company.
Cons: Some decisions take time due to process and review loops. Limited visibility into long-term projects as a contractor.
