Facebook visited my university, so I attended a meet and greet and secured an in-person interview that day after a recruiter briefly reviewed my resume.

That day, I had two consecutive 45-minute interviews. They asked me coding questions, and then I had the opportunity to ask questions.

The first interview was not bad, but I thought the second interview presented harder questions. I heard back within a day.

Here's one of the questions:

Given a 2D square input of 0s and 1s (0 is water and 1 is land), if adjacent squares are considered connected (including diagonals), how many separate land masses are there in the input?
