I applied for the Software Engineer, PhD Intern/Co-Op (Systems and Infrastructure) position. I received an email asking several questions, such as my expected graduation date, current research focus, and availability for potential interviews. The next day, I got another email confirming two scheduled 45-minute technical interviews on consecutive days, approximately ten days later.
In both interviews, I had to solve two problems using a shared editor. Generally, interviewers will provide hints if you make mistakes, allowing them to assess your ability to correct them. For each question, I was also asked to test my code on several test cases.
The day after the second technical interview, I received an email stating that I had passed and that the matching process would begin. This matching process took about three days, after which they scheduled another interview with a member of the team I was matched with. The team interview focused on the project I would be working on if I joined, as well as discussions about my background. Overall, it was a very positive interview.
Within approximately one week, I received the offer.
Two medium-to-hard Leetcode questions in each interview.
