Pros
  • Great place to work
  • Good culture
  • VR/AR innovative technology
Cons
  • Higher management (above my manager) do not value what contractors do there and will easily let you go once your contract is up.
  • Managers will overlook your experience and hard work for someone with a higher degree.
  • The interviewing process is ridiculous for someone applying from within, as there will be interviewers from other teams, and some from the same, interviewing you. It seems the decision to hire you will come from their evaluation of you and upper management instead of your direct manager (the one that actually saw you do the work).
Advice to Management

Management should value more the hard work that contractors put in and should actually hire them if they've put in the hard work and proved worthy, instead of hiring someone from the outside with a higher degree.
