Pros

Great pay, lots of autonomy, and the ability to choose teams and projects you want to work on.

Cons

Goals constantly change. I would spend a month planning project roadmaps for the next half only to have the roadmaps thrown out two weeks later. All employees were expected to do their jobs and take on side projects to get good performance reviews, which leads to a bad work/life balance.

Advice to Management

Stick to goals and see project roadmaps through to the end. Make clear expectations when priorities change.
