Facebook is a company that has evolved from a scrappy startup to a large, global company very successfully, due to very good management practices. It has never lost focus on engineering excellence as a key success driver. It's a great place to learn, even for industry veterans, and evolve.
Career growth is very well defined and metrics-driven, and politics are kept to a minimum. Compensation, perks, and benefits are top-notch.
Facebook still hasn't found the secret to retaining top engineering talent for the long haul.
Turnover is high, which, combined with constant internal mobility moves, leaves teams with a low level of deep expertise in the services they support.
Stay focused on the core mission of enabling people to build communities.

Recruiter screen followed by behavioral and systems rounds. Didn't connect with the systems interviewer and it was clear he was unhappy. Waited over a week to hear back from my recruiter, who didn't give any feedback or even respond when asked.
