Most of what you read in the press about Facebook is lies designed to get eyeballs to the news outlet websites so that they can make money.
The actual experience at Facebook (at least from my perspective) is that it is a great place to work.
The benefits are great. The people are caring. The upper management actually cares about making the world a better place. And everyone is trying their best to do good and ethical things. I really enjoy the smart and empathetic people that I work with.
