Human values and ethics, government regulations, and policies are seen as challenges to overcome, not as something that needs to be incorporated in the culture and respected.
While there is collaboration to get things done, you are always alone in your struggle to hold on to your job. You need to be political and make friends. You cannot speak or act against the status quo. You cannot experiment and fail. All of these can lead to losing your job.
Nothing is below the line if you can make a profit out of it.
There is no psychological safety. Competition within the team, blindly following the leadership, backstabbing, and ignoring human emotions are all normalized.
Good. I had 2 algorithm interviews, 1 design interview, and 1 behavioral interview, with small coding questions at the end. The office in London is very nice. Algorithm questions involved tree traversal, which I needed to know really well. My sugg
Tree question. Couldn't give tips at all. Interviewer was disconnected and condescending for each reject in 45 minutes. Really terrible candidate experience. There have been few good experiences with Meta.
There were 5 rounds of interviews. The first round was with HR. The second round was a technical round with architecture questions. The next round involved a coding interview with detailed C++ 17 and C++ 20 features.
